Economy Blocks

I started a new quilt… for the longest time I had wanted to make an economy block quilt. I find them very cute. I love how you can make the center a focal point with some fussy cutting and how it creates a secondary pattern where the blocks intersect once they are put together.

While deciding what colors to use I ended up going a super scrappy path. Each block with its own personality. Blocks finish at 6” so great way to use up small scraps.

Can’t wait to put the quilt top together.
